Looking Back on a Year of Meaningful Growth
By: Travis Caldwell
January 26th, 2026Blink and it’s over. That’s a bit what 2025 felt like. But that’s all the more reason to reflect on it now — for as fast as it went, it was far from an ordinary year.
Our plans for growth have always been grounded in a clear understanding of the type of work we want to do. Our goal isn’t to chase the Burger Kings and Pepsis of the world. But that doesn’t mean we’re happy sitting still.
In 2025, we made key additions to our team that have significantly improved our capabilities and efficiencies. After assisting behind the scenes for several months, I came on full-time as Partner and COO to help shape the future of Devise. We also welcomed Kevin (Director of Project Management), Kyle (Director of Strategy), Greg (Account Director), and Lauren (Project Manager).
More than filling vacancies, these new roles represent a shift in our approach. Not only are we better positioned to attract new work, but we’re empowered to do more for our existing clients. Our research, strategy, and production chops have all been amplified by new talent.
Who’s coming with us
We are thrilled to count Learning Care Group and Argali among the new clients who joined the Devise family in 2025. Together, these engagements capture the full range of what we do: a quick-turnaround website project for Argali and a long-term, agency-of-record relationship with Learning Care Group. Whether we’re coming on for a one-off project or an extended stay, we treat every engagement as a true partnership, and we always love the opportunity to reconnect with old friends on new projects — as we did with Hyphn and Index Industries last year.
Other highlights included leading an international collaboration to overhaul the Sigma brand. As our longest-running client, this was a special undertaking, and one that saw us coordinating teams in four different time zones. For Pivot, we put a new spin on the classic testimonial ad by making up customer reviews for its enduro-dominating Firebird bike. We also reunited with CRKT for the launch of a radical new product unlike anything the world had seen.
And there’s much more to come, including a new visual identity, brand voice, and brand architecture for Learning Care Group that pushed us in new ways and resulted in some of our most exciting and complex work yet. Stay tuned!
Celebrating who we are
There was one more thing we rolled out in 2025: the Bawden Award. Aptly named after recipient Chris Bawden, Senior Designer, the Bawden Award recognizes a Devise team member who exemplifies our brand attributes of Curious, Spirited, Candid, and Adaptable. Congrats, Chris, and well deserved!
